decoder ring needed

this book does not give you step by step instructions, it gives the sequence of key strokes and or mouse chick backward.
for instance: choose the new tool from the launch panel of the get started tab in the ribbon bar.
when learning new software, decoding the instructions should not part of the process.

I used the internet instead of the book- mostly because Inventor is all icons and navigating the icons and this book was useless for a how-to reference.
